Because Trainrz honors your choice before loading anything non-essential, analytics and marketing tools only start after you opt in on this page or in the banner. Strictly necessary storage — such as your sign-in session — is required for the site to work and cannot be turned off.
What happens when you clear your choice
Selecting Clear my choice deletes the cookie-consent record from this browser and immediately does the following:
- Any non-essential cookies already set for preferences, analytics, or marketing are treated as withdrawn — the next page load will not read or refresh them, and third- party tags are not loaded again until you opt back in.
- The banner reappears so you can make a new choice. Until you do, only strictly necessary storage is active.
- Analytics data already collected before you cleared your choice remains in aggregated, non-identifying form and is deleted or fully anonymised on the retention schedule above. It is not linked back to you.
- Your Trainrz account, bookings, and profile data are not affected — clearing your cookie choice only changes cookie and local-storage behaviour on this device. To delete account data, use your profile settings or contact support.
- Clearing your browser cookies or using another device is treated as a fresh visit: you will see the banner again and no previous consent is assumed.
